The 12-week programme
I don’t do one-off sessions. We need time to identify what’s holding a batter back, build the right movement patterns and pressure-test them until they stand up in a match.
Every block is personal. If a skill needs more time, we give it more time. Nothing important gets left unchecked.
“My son trained with Jarrod on a 12-week program. Jarrod methodically changed his stance and grip and taught him how to play good cricket shots. He builds a relationship the child respects, and my son is always excited for the next session.

A focused hour
Longer when a skill needs it.
Facing pace with a clear purpose.
Reading, moving and scoring with intent.
For players just starting out, it’s roughly 30 minutes of drills and 30 minutes of free batting.
The mental game
Confidence, nerves, game plans and staying present under pressure. This is the part of batting I wasn’t taught, and it’s often the part that unlocks everything else.
“Not just technique. Jarrod also works on the mental side of batting and a good process to go out and bat well from ball one.

How I coach
If something needs fixing, I don’t leave it unchecked. We work through the detail, then test it at speed. I expect respect and good behaviour, and I give every player the same in return.
I coach ages seven through to adults, from first-time batters to representative players. Batting is my specialty, and bowling coaching is also available.

Enquire about online coaching“Regular one-on-one video calls, videos of my net sessions reviewed, and a mental game plan for every match. It’s not magic. You have to listen and do the work, but Jarrod works hard with you and you’ll get great results.
